Kojiro Scissor Oil

Kojiro Scissor Oil is a 100% natural oil, harvested from a particular Tree only found in Japan. It is 100% pure, organic, vegan, vegetarian, hypoallergenic, non toxic/food safe and has been used in Japan and the Far East for Centuries to lubricate and protect fine steel blades.
It’s first documented use was in 1538 and used by the Japanese Samurai warriors to protect their carbon steel swords from the harsh winter environments of Japan.

In more recent years it is used in Japan to lubricate and protect high quality knives and scissors from rust and harsh chemicals and is recognised Worldwide as the finest quality scissor oil available.

Its natural viscosity is perfect for lubricating the pivot area of scissors, preventing dirt build up and allowing free movement of the scissor pivot which means the tension of the scissor will not cause thumb, hand or wrist strain. Its purity and natural chemical makeup will not harm the rubber/nylon washers or ball bearing mechanisms found in high quality scissor pivots. It will also prevent rust from damaging scissors and will actually remove minor and not so minor rust from fine steel blades if applied and left for a minute or two then brushed/scrubbed off, leaving perfect steel blades. Kojiro Scissor Oil is non greasy so any contact with hands, fingers or even animal coats will not cause stains, stickiness or skin irritant/allergic reaction.

Just one small drop a day onto the scissor pivot, a drop or two applied to the scissor blade surfaces and wiped over with a tissue or microfibre cloth will help protect the blades from rust in damp salon environments.
